Master Plan Men's Getaway
March 8-10, 2024

A Christian men's weekend in the mountains designed to encourage men toward authentic masculinity through God's Word, sharing life experiences, singing praise to the King of Kings, eating awesome food, and enjoying the outdoors together. Space is limited!

The Big Goal:

We'll get four sessions in God's Word and look at the theme of Authentic Masculinity. We'll ask "What is Truth?" and how is that related to:  
  • Being an authentic Christian Man  
  • Authentically relating to women whether single, dating, or married 
  • Being an authentic Christian father and Christian son 
In our relativistic culture there is so much need for hope for the future. Jesus is the answer and he offers incredible amounts of hope!  The talks will be given by our leadership team made up of MPM staff, board members, and will be announced when confirmed. Special Guest Jack Phillips will join us to share his testimony of going to the Supreme Court and winning for honoring God with his business as owner of Master Piece Cake Shop.​

It Will Be Memorable:     

We'll have free time to enjoy the outdoors on Saturday afternoon.  There will be a ton of snow at 9,000 feet and we'll have the clay pigeon shoot,  space for sledding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and other winter activities. Bring your own gear. We'll also host the traditional "Man Championship" friendly competition games to see who will get to sign their names on the legendary Golden Horn of Contention trophy that may have grown since the last time you saw it. There will be local ice fishing opportunities at the ranch pond and Lemon Reservoir.

This updated event is planned to be held at Three Trails Ranch, about 30 minutes NE of Durango.

We are keeping costs low by asking that all the men be willing to take a shift in the kitchen cooking or cleaning.

Cost includes all Getaway sessions, meals from late night snack Friday through sack lunch Sunday.
