Men's Ministry

Why Men's Ministry?

Men are searching for meaning and significance.  They are asking the question, "Is this all there is?"  Nearly all men struggle with basic identity questions like:
  • Who am I?
  • Why am I here?
  • Where am I going in terms of direction and hope?

Men need a context (like the outdoors, sports, or hobbies) with other men in a Christian setting to truly communicate and express their needs and concerns.  Most are tired of "the rat race" and are looking for masculine answers and fellowship.   Jesus is the answer.  We host two annual events, and various BIble Studies to help men connect with Jesus through His word.

Our Vision
To see all men become "Good Soil" that will be able to produce "Good Fruit".

We hope our ministry will produce masculine gatherings for men that are so impacted by Christ, fellowship, fun, and general encouragement that the greatest impact would be seen with wives, children, their local churches, the people they know and work with, and the nations of the world.

We do this because Jesus set the example of taking His disciples away often to the wilderness to rest, refocus, and to prepare them for their next future mission.

Our Values
  1. The authority of God’s Word is the foundation of our teaching.
  2. Encouraging authentic masculinity.
  3. Having fun together through free time in the outdoors and friendly competition games.
  4. Encouraging men towards Godly sexuality, marriages, and leading their families.
  5. Sharing the Gospel message with men that come to events and inviting them to receive Christ.
  6. Helping men to see their part in the Great Commission.
  7. We are a non-denominational Christian ministry and we encourage all men to be committed to Bible-believing churches.
  8. We hope to offer some element of training men in living the Christian life through emphasizing dependence on the Holy Spirit, developing a habit of spending time in God’s Word, and walking by faith in Christ.
  9. We aim to follow up with men after events through email to offer encouragement and opportunities for future Christian growth including men's small group Bible Studies.

"Be strong and very courageous.  Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful."
