Lodge Volunteer Week

Come serve the Lord by volunteering at Cascade Lodge!

Each May we set aside about a week in the calendar to do maintenance and other significant projects at Cascade Lodge.  This is Master Plan's nearly 100 year old historic log lodge on the beautiful "Million Dollar" Highway 550.

This year we are attempting to replace another original window, replace a damaged subfloor and flooring, replace some rotten wood in the deck, perhaps a tile project, and and other regular maintenance including some staining and cleaning.  Other projects will depend on the number of volunteers and what their interests are.  (Masonry rock work, chinking the logs, repairing woodpecker holes, etc.)  We could use someone that is familiar with snowcat hydraulics and someone who has expertise in tile/grout work and pool table felt bumpers.

There will be something for all adults.  (We could even use camp kitchen manager.)  This event is not designed for children.  (Check out our Volunteer Week at Three Trails Ranch if you would like to bring your kids.)

We will have a great time working for about 6-8 hours a day.  There will be a Bible devotional time together in the mornings.  We will supply meals and work supplies, however you may bring your tools if you have them.  Bring a sleeping bag!

Why are we doing this?

In 2025, the Lodge saw 19 different groups and over 300 people.  The mission of the Lodge is to make it available year-round at a low cost for the greatest good and largest number of people to promote Biblical moral and spiritual values and expose all groups to the claims of Christ.
