Grand Junction
Colorado Mesa University (CMU)
Master Plan has been at CMU since 1994.
Our club at CMU is called Together In Life (TNL).
About TNL
As we continue to get new students, the mission field is expanding and we are excited! Together In Life (TNL) is our Master Plan club at CMU. Each semester, we host many different events to meet new students and invite them to join us. Whether it's free snow cones, a night hike, water balloon volleyball, or BBQ, we seek to meet as many students as possible and pray for the chance to share the Gospel.
Each Tuesday at 7PM, TNL meets on campus for worship, a Bible-based message, discussion groups, and fellowship (with free espresso and dessert after)! We also host weekly Bible studies, and times for prayer, and training in evangelism. One of our favorite things to do is meet with students weekly for one-on-one discipleship, where we encourage them in their walk with Jesus, and provide tools for growth & taking steps of faith.
About CMU
Founded in 1925, Colorado Mesa University offers liberal arts, professional, and technical programs at the master's, bachelor's, associate, and certificate levels. Grand Junction is well liked by students for the many opportunities for outdoor recreation and close proximity to Moab, UT.
CMU had almost 10,000 students enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester, and just under 2,000 of those were freshmen. CMU celebrated 100 years in 2025 and is continuing to grow.
We encounter students from many different faith backgrounds. Many grew up in Christian homes, but fell away as they got older. Others have never heard the Gospel or don't believe there is a God. However, most are willing to talk about spiritual things. Each week, we look for opportunities to meet new students and get into conversations that hopefully lead to sharing the Gospel.
The administration has been very supportive of our presence on campus, especially in the past few years. They see the value in students being involved in a club and our desire to be a safe space for them to spend their free time.
