Leadership Development
Learn skills that will prepare you to lead well while following Christ!
There will be several trainings, activities, and discussions to help students develop leadership skills that will apply in Christian settings, work, and daily life. Some things we will do include public speaking, overnight solo camping, and a leadership trek.
Great Commission Training
Prepare to step out in faith wherever God calls you!
Learn how to share your faith and the great news of the Gospel with others, both through your personal testimony and teaching the Bible.
Colorado Outdoor Adventure
Enjoy the beautiful mountains near Durango!
Enjoy free time at our pond, adventures on high ropes courses, rafting, camping, and the "Switzerland of America"... the Ouray Via Ferrata!
About The Project
Come join Master Plan Ministries in the Rocky Mountains for a life-changing start to your summer you will never forget. The Crush Fear summer project is a two week outdoor adventure that equips you to better follow Jesus and expand His kingdom. This exciting project is located at
Three Trails Ranch in the mountains near Durango, Colorado.
When you come to Crush Fear, Master Plan staff will help you learn more about God and grow deeper in your relationship with Him through His Word. Students from around the region are welcome to join us and experience Christian growth in a whole new way!

Bible TeachingItem Link
Get training, and put together a Bible study or public speaking message you will share with your peers.

Leadership TrekItem Link List Item 1
Guide your team of students in a race against other teams through the Weminuche Wilderness using your wits and a compass! You will learn several different Christian leadership skills by the time you return to the Ranch.

EvangelismItem Link
Get training and head out to town in small groups to meet people and share Jesus with summer tourists and locals in town that are willing to talk.

Set up a camp in the wilderness together, and learn the basics of primitive camping.

Overnight Solo (Optional Challenge)Item Link List Item 3
Sleep overnight in a secluded individual spot in the wilderness with your sleeping bag, Bible, journal, and not much else! You will be within ear-shot of a staff member and other students, but no one in sight.

Public SpeakingItem Link List Item 4
Write out your personal testimony and share it at a local church service. This is a great tool that can be used to share the Gospel with others.

High Ropes CourseItem Link
Learn the meaning of faith when you hang off a rope and go over the edge, zip down a line, climb a wall, or do the "skywalks"!

Learn about another culture as we may plan to visit a local Native American reservation. This training activity TBD for Summer 2027.

This project is hosted at Master Plan Ministries' Three Trails Ranch in the beautiful mountains near Durango, Colorado.

Cost Includes:

Does not include transportation from your home to Durango, nor some recommended camping and hiking items.
Does not include the optional Ouray Via Ferrata adventure.
Deposit: $100
A $100 deposit is required to hold your spot. Your deposit and any discounts will be applied toward your total project cost.
COST
- Apply Now! (when your application is received, you will see a confirmation message)
- Wait to hear from directors about your acceptance to the project.
- Once accepted, send in your $100 deposit to hold your spot!
- Earn or raise the rest of your project fees. We will help you in this.
- Show up on May 19, 2026 at Three Trails Ranch.
Transportation to and from project is not included in fees.

*This project being held is subject to receiving a minimum of 8 deposits by April 19, 2026. If we don't have enough interest, all deposits will be refunded after that date and the event subject to be cancelled. Also after that date, if there are enough deposits, they and any new deposits made will become non-refundable.
NOTE: As of April 20th, this event has been CANCELED for 2026.
We plan to offer it again next summer.
