MPM's 40th Anniversary Celebration Retreat

Over 40 years ago Russ and Linda Akins, along with their three children, a Board of Directors, and a young lawyer, trusted God to start Master Plan Ministries, a Christian nonprofit ministry dedicated to "preparing others to reach and influence the world for Christ".
Over those 40 years, thousands of students on the Durango, Grand Junction, Denver, Albuquerque, and Alamosa college campuses were reached with the Gospel and hundreds were discipled and trained toward helping fulfill the Great Commission. On July 17-19, 2026 we are going to gather at Master Plan's Three Trails Ranch in Durango to celebrate this milestone by reconnecting with Master Plan friends, both new and old. We will hear testimonies and see photos & videos from the past 40 years. There will be live worship and we will sing praises and share meals together in the mountains like we have been doing for four decades. Saturday night will be our main celebration session when we will be sharing the vision for expanding the Dining Hall and a vision of the future of Master Plan Ministries. There will be an invitation to invest financially in MPM, but there is no obligation to give. We really want you to be part of a fun celebration! Tentative Schedule

Who is invited?
Anyone who's life was impacted positively by Master Plan Ministries over the last 40 years and their families. Students, staff members, volunteers, ministry partners (prayer and/or financial), retreat or getaway attendees, and friends of MPM. Come join us!
Housing
You are invited to come and stay at Three Trails Ranch for FREE for the weekend. Housing will be assigned based on space, availability, and the order in which requests are received.
Ranch Housing:
Free housing at the Ranch must be requested through Eventbrite or by calling Linda Akins, and MPM staff will subsequently confirm or deny housing requests via email within a few days. If we don’t have space for your housing, we will let you know and suggest other options for you to be able to join us for the celebration.
If you currently live in the Durango area and would be willing to sleep at home to make space for others who are traveling longer distances, there is an option for that in the registration. Simply let us know in the housing preferences question.
Childcare
Childcare will be available for kids up to age 12 starting 15 minutes before and going until 15 minutes after the main Sessions in the schedule.

Guest housing is not confirmed until you get a confirmation email regarding your housing placement after you RSVP online or with Linda.

Ranch Housing:
- 24 Private Rooms with private baths - for couples
- There are a few of these rooms that are great for families with kids
- The Bunk House - 30 beds for men and 30 beds for women
- Each has a large bathroom with multiple stalls and showers
- Plenty of space for RVs / Campers (no hookups) and/or Tents
